Sensei Kevin Osz

Kevin has been practicing judo at Bushido Kai since 1988, and has competed in local-to-international-level tournaments. One of the highlights of his competitive career was representing the United States at the 2007 Pan-American Championships in Ju-No-Kata, winning the bronze medal along with teammate Sensei Chris Arena. While earning his B.S. in Business Administration at SUNY Buffalo, Kevin was an assistant instructor at the school's Basic Judo and Self-Defense course. Kevin earned his MBA at the University of Rochester's Simon Graduate School of Business, and he is currently employed as a Senior Financial Analyst at ITT Corporation - Space Systems Division. In 1991, he met Mariko Ogasawara at the YMCA Judo Camp in Port Jervis, NY. The couple were married in January, 2006, and their daughter, Hailey, is also an active member of Bushido Kai. In 2007, the couple welcomed their son Aidan Jaxon into the world. Kevin works too much to pursue any activities outside of judo.
